MAPNA Chabahar Power Plant Project consists of two gas units with a capacity of 157.5 MW each (315 MW in total) at ISO conditions in which two V94.2 gas turbines have been used.
The power plant is located 15 km from Chabahar on the road to Iranshahr. All the units of Chabahar Gas Power Plant have been delivered to the client on permanent basis.
The client of the project is Iran Power Development Company (IPDC) and the client consultant is Ghods Niroo Consultant Engineers Company with Tara Niroo Sepahan Company as its workshop supervisor.
Meanwhile, the main contractor of the project is MAPNA DM-1 Company which started construction operations of the power plant on 17 April 2006. Construction operations of Chabahar Power Plant lasted for about 23 months and its first unit was synchronized on 28 February 2009 and the last unit was permanently delivered on 16 August 2010.
In this project, the maximum record of progress in implementation of a project (in a year) was registered in 2008 at the rate of 82%. This is one of the honors of Chabahar Power Plant Project.
Meanwhile, engineering, procurement and construction of GIS substation of the power plant with a capacity of 230 kV has been the responsibility of the client. On the other hand, based on the approved strategy, this project was implemented in the framework of 16 contracts with subcontractors in the engineering, procurement and construction sections.
