On Tuesday, August 30, 2016, MAPNA Group was host to a delegation of Omani power officials.
The delegation, consisting of managers from renewable energy, transmission, and network planning sectors, paid a visit to MAPNA’s Turbine Engineering and Manufacturing Company (TUGA) in Karaj, west of Tehran.
A presentation of MAPNA’s history, its capabilities and overseas projects was delivered before the Omani delegation also briefed TUGA managers on the state of affairs in Oman’s power sector and introduced potentials for collaboration and investment.
The delegation took a tour of TUGA factory afterwards, where it observed the processes of gas turbine design and manufacture.
MAPNA has previously carried out the Raysut gas power plant and the Qarn Alam power plant (steam sector) projects in the Sultanate of Oman under an EPC contract.
