MAPNA Group was host to officials from the Democratic Republic of Congo on October 9, 2016.
Franck Mwe di Malila, Deputy Minister of International Relations and National Integration for DR Congo, led a delegation of officials from different ministries to MAPNA headquarters in Mirdamad Boulevard, northern Tehran, on Sunday afternoon.
Mr. di Malila and his accompanying delegation were welcomed by Khalil Behbahani, CEO of MAPNA Group Investment Division, who briefly presented MAPNA’s history, structure and fields of activities. Behbahani hoped for further collaboration between Iran and the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Mr. di Malila, who also serves as advisor to DRC Senate Head, outlined the state of power industry in Congo and the government’s plans to increase the rate of electricity access in this central African country. Max Munga, Advisor to Energy Minister, also provided further details on power needs in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
The Congolese delegation had paid a visit to MAPNA’s factories earlier on Saturday, as part of their one-week visit to Iran.
