MAPNA Group and Thermal Power Plant Holding have signed a MoU for delivery of two 25-MW portable power plants to the Ministry of Power.

Abbas Aliabadi, MAPNA President, and Mohsen Tarztalab, CEO of Thermal Power Plant Holding, a subsidiary of power ministry, signed the MoU on Saturday, November 22nd.

According to the memorandum, MAPNA will construct and commission two 25-MW portable power plants for the cities of Nowshahr and Behshahr in Mazandaran Province, on the Caspian Sea coast.

Portable plants have become an increasingly popular solution in the power industry in the recent years, due to their mobility and simple installation. They are particularly helpful for supplying power in locations in urgent need of power.

The two power plants will be delivered as part of Ministry of Power’s order of 10 mobile power plants to MAPNA. The 25-MW mobile power plants are capable of being installed and synchronized to the national grid in less than 30 days.
