Neyr Perse Company, MAPNA Group’s oil and gas subsidiary, has signed a lease agreement with South Pars Gas Complex Company for three MGT-30/DU80 gas turbines.
This is the first time such a deal has been made in the country.
The three turbines, each with a capacity of 25 MW, will be installed at the 11th and 12th refineries of South Pars gas complex, which are part of phase 13 and phase 22-24 of the project.
The turbines will help boost the gas injection into the national pipeline by 24 million cubic meters per day during the winter season.
The lease contract is valid for six months, according to the terms of the agreement.
