MAPNA Unveils High-Power EV Chargers at Iran’s Largest Electricity Exhibition

MAPNA Group showcased its latest innovations at the 24th Iran International Electricity Exhibition, held from October 24 to 27, 2024, at Tehran’s International Permanent Fairgrounds.

The event, the largest trade exhibition for Iran’s electricity sector, brought together officials including Energy Minister Abbas Aliabadi, as well as industry leaders, professionals, and experts.

MAPNA’s participation featured two booths—one indoors in Hall 44 (Khalij-e-Fars Hall) and an outdoor exhibit space—dedicated to presenting its achievements in power and energy solutions and to fostering collaborations with stakeholders and clients.

The MAPNA booths attracted government officials, power industry managers, researchers, students, and members of the media.

Fast chargers unveiled

One of the key highlights of MAPNA’s showcase was the unveiling of its 240-kilowatt fast chargers, engineered by MAPNA Electric & Control Engineering and Manufacturing Company (MECO).

The chargers, introduced on the exhibition’s third day, support simultaneous charging of up to four electric vehicles or two electric buses, and are compatible with CCS and GB/T charging standards.

Designed for dense urban areas, these fast chargers feature compact dimensions, high reliability, and optimized installation, making them suitable for public spaces.

The chargers also come equipped with internet connectivity via GSM, Wi-Fi, and LAN, allowing operators to easily monitor and manage charging stations.

Additional features include an LCD display and RFID card recognition for streamlined user interaction. The unveiling ceremony, attended by MAPNA executives and industry specialists, received considerable attention from the media.
