MAPNA Group’s Neyr Perse Company delivered 19 spherical storage tanks to the Esfahan Oil Refinery on October 30, 2024.
This marks a significant milestone in the Esfahan Refinery’s Package C project, which includes a total of 64 tanks—45 cylindrical and 19 spherical.
The spherical tanks, with a combined capacity of 57,000 cubic meters, are designed to store fluids such as propane, butane, LPG, and propylene. The cylindrical tanks had previously been delivered and are already in operation.
With the completion of Neyr Perse’s commitments in the LPG loading area, the necessary infrastructure to connect the spherical tanks and loading arms is now in place, enabling the Esfahan Oil Refinery to benefit from the sale of these products.
Esfahan Oil Refinery has initiated development projects in the southern section of the refinery, prioritizing diesel desulfurization to enhance product quality and address environmental concerns.
The southern refinery development projects are divided into five sections, labeled Packages A to E. The contract for Package C was awarded to a consortium led by MAPNA, with Neyr Perse as the consortium leader.
The physical progress of Package C, which includes construction, tanks, utilities, and offsite facilities, currently stands at 99.84%.
