MAPNA Group hosted a Tunisian delegation headed by Minister of Energy and Mines Mongi Marzouk on Sunday.
Mr. Mongi Marzouk, who was accompanied by a delegation including the Tunisian ambassador to Tehran and senior officials from the ministry, took a three-hour tour of MAPNA Turbine Engineering and Manufacturing Company (TUGA), MAPNA Turbine Blade Company (PARTO), and MAPNA Generator and Wind Turbine Engineering and Manufacturing Company (PARS) on May 15, 2016.
MAPNA Group CEO Abbas Aliabadi welcomed the Tunisian delegation and stated that the group is ready to collaborate with Tunisia in all energy-related fields, from thermal power plant projects in forms of EPC and investment, to renewable energy projects and training of technical staff.
Tunisian’s Minister of Energy and Mines Mr. Mongi Marzouk also welcomed collaboration between the two countries. He also praised MAPNA for its technological achievements and its efforts to accomplish self-sufficiency in manufacture of power plant equipment.
The Tunisian delegation has been in Tehran since Friday and held talks with a number of Iran’s energy officials, including Minister of Power Hamid Chitchian.
