MHD-40 water-brake dynamometer is designed to test gas turbines up to 40MW. It has a modular structure that allows its nominal capacity to be adjusted by adding or removing stators and rotor disks of the water brake. It can perform performance tests for MGT-, MGT30, MGT30MD, and MGT40 gas turbines.
