46.8-MW Khark Power Plant

Project Specifications

The power plant is located on Khark Island, Persian Gulf. The scope of this project involves transferring two 3-MW gas turbines of TB5000 type from Khark to Farashband (also called Aqar/Dalan) refinery in Fars Province. The vacancy on the island is then filled with two 23.4-MW turbines of Frame 5 type and their replacement, separation, withdrawal and transport from the named refinery to Khark and their installation on the island is done by MAPNA experts.
