MAPNA DRILLING COMPANY AWARDED LIFT TENDER

Tehran, Iran – MAPNA Drilling Company (MDCO), a subsidiary of MAPNA Group, has been awarded a lift tender to boost production in Darkhovin oil field in southwestern Iran.

Tehran, Iran – MAPNA Drilling Company (MDCO), a subsidiary of MAPNA Group, has been awarded a lift tender to boost production in Darkhovin oil field in southwestern Iran.

The tender took place on January 6, 2016. Six parties had contended for the tender invited by Arvandan Oil and Gas Company.

MAPNA Drilling Company’s responsibilities include coiled tubing, nitrogen pumping, acidizing and cementing services for oil production, and water and gas injection operations.

Darkhovin oil field is located 45 kilometers north of Khorramshahr and produces light crude oil (API=39).

If requested, the company will also provide services for other oil fields including Azadegan, Yadavaran, Jufeyr, Khorramshahr, Arvand and Susangerd.

MAPNA Drilling Company currently operates offshore and onshore drilling services through two drilling yards in Ahvaz in southwestern Iran and Kish Island in the Persian Gulf.
