MAPNA has announced the appointment of Massoud Shakiba as the new CEO of Power Division.
Shakiba, a Sharif University graduate, is a veteran manager of Iran’s power industry. An electrical engineer, he has been active in the field since 1981, engaged in training, engineering, manufacturing planning, and execution of various projects in the Ministry of Power, Tavanir, and Iran Power Development Company.
Shakiba’s career in MAPNA started in 2005, as deputy in Engineering and Manufacturing Division. He served for five years as CEO of Engineering and Manufacturing Division afterwards, and later, as CEO of Manufacturing Division in MAPNA’s new structure. He later served as senior advisor to MAPNA President Abbas Aliabadi on strategic affairs and development of new businesses. His last position before the new appointment was F Class Built Projects Manager.
In his new position, Masoud Shakiba will focus on reinforcement of MAPNA’s leading position in Iran’s power industry, catering to client’s emerging requirements, and optimizing procedures.
Shakiba replaces the late Mohammad-Ebrahim Mosalli who sadly passed away on September 30th, after years of serving Iran’s power industry.
