MAPNA Group has received the final acceptance certificate (FAC) for the steam unit of the Samangan combined cycle power plant in Kerman, south of Iran.
Located 10 kilometers from Sirjan, Kerman Province, Samangan Combined Cycle Power Plant includes two gas units (166 MWs each) and one steam unit (160 MWs), together holding a capacity of 492 MWs.
Two MAPNA-developed gas turbines, an E-type steam turbine, an HRSG (with supplementary firing), and an ACC cooling system have been used in the project.
The project was commissioned by Kermanian Combined Cycle Power Company in October 2014. Ghods Niroo served as engineering consultant of the project.
With the delivery of the unit, MD-2 has now received the final acceptance certificate (FAC) for 107 units across the country with an aggregate capacity of 16,527 MWs.
