MAPNA Group’s oil and gas subsidiary, Neyr Perse, has received a provisional acceptance certificate (PAC) for Units I and II of the Dowrahan compressor station.
Located in Borujen County, the western Iranian province of Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari, the compressor station is part of Line 6 of Iran Gas Trunkline (IGAT), the national gas transmission and distribution network.
The station is part of the project commissioned by the Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company (IGEDC) to manufacture, supply, and install 100 turbocompressor utilities.
MAPNA subsidiaries of Neyr Perse, TUGA (MAPNA Turbine Engineering and Manufacturing Company), and MECO (MAPNA Electrical and Control Engineering and Manufacturing Company) were engaged in the project.
The project involves the design, supply, manufacture, handover, and supervision of installation and commissioning of 100 turbocompressors. The project has been implemented in three phases, with the degree of localization increasing in each phase.
The turbocompressors are installed in various locations along the IGAT 4 & 8 lines, and their installation is done by the client, Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company.
Energy Industries Engineering & Design (EIED) is the consultant for the project. Neyr Perse executes the project on behalf of the parent company. The contract between MAPNA Group and the Ministry of Petroleum for this project was signed in 2007.
