With huge potentials in using renewable energies, MAPNA Renewable Energies Generation Company was established to invest in this sector especially in wind energy. The company has in agenda construction of a 750 MW wind power plant under BOO scheme and 11 projects in three windy provinces of Qazvin, Khorasan, and East Azerbaijan. The company also is the owner of first wind farm with 2.5 MW turbines, which uses the latest cutting-edge technologies in close collaboration with German brands. The company is also working to sell Clean Development Mechanisms to world markets.
