Tous Power Plant (Ferdowsi) comprises six units, each with a generation capacity of 159MW (under ISO conditions) Siemens V94.2 type and a 400KW substation and is located 15km Mashhad-Quchan road in the vicinity of older Tous power plant. Tous power plant was constructed on the basis of an ECA agreement.
In January 2004, the investors established a project company, MAPNA Tous Power Plant Company Ltd. The newly-established company was assigned with concluding ECA agreements, representing MAPNA, as well as other necessary contracts, finance, supervising over the construction process, operation, maintenance, and electricity delivery to the end-users.
