The air quality in the locomotive braking system is of utmost importance due to the presence of delicate components. To fulfill this requirement, MAPNA Rail Technologies includes the MA-L01 air dryer in its production portfolio. The air dryer assembly comprises three mechanical parts:

1. Water separator
2. Air dryer
3. Final filter

The air exiting the air dryer assembly meets the standard level required for the locomotive brake system.

The final product consists of 700 individual parts, which undergo various production processes such as molding, casting, machining, bending, and coating. More than 50 different types of raw materials, including various metal alloys, polymers, and polymer compounds, are utilized. The MA-L01 air dryer is used in the MAP24 freight locomotives project.
