Electrical blocks are the most important component of electric locomotives, and their sensitivity necessitates routine maintenance. Any breakdown could lead to the cool-down of locomotive, and subsequently incur huge costs on the rail transportation system. The modular electric block eliminates these issues because it can be quickly removed for maintenance or replaced with another e-block to keep the locomotive from cooling down. MAPNA’s electrical block comes with equivalent specifications similar to that used in Alstom’s main locomotive is produced, which can be replaced in Alstom locomotives and is also used in MAP30 locomotives.
