The project of design and manufacturing of bogie for MAP24 started by MLC in 2014. The design process has been executed by cooperation of the well-known European consultancy Company (PROSE). Dynamics optimization was performed based on the EN 14363, UIC 518 in order to improve the dynamics performance of the bogie. The bolster and frame of bogie have been designed according to the EN 13749 in which the manufacturing process was changed from casting to welding. This bogie can be used for a variety of locomotives up to 20.5 tons axle load & the maximum operation speed of 120 km/h.
