MAPNA Group’s Corporate Social Responsibility Charter
In today’s business landscape, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has emerged as a critical factor for the survival and success of organizations. Responsible and accountable entities recognize the importance of expressing their commitment to social responsibility, ensuring transparency and accountability to stakeholders at every level of their operations. By fulfilling these obligations, organizations not only uphold their moral and ethical principles but also foster mutually beneficial outcomes.
By embracing CSR, organizations can reap several advantages. Firstly, they cultivate a moral and principled approach, aligning their actions with societal expectations. Secondly, stakeholders and communities gain a more comprehensive understanding of an organization’s strengths and performance, enhancing their perception and trust.
MAPNA Group understands the significance of social responsibility as a collection of obligations that an organization must fulfill to protect and support both itself and the society it operates within. Recognizing the impact that this area has on its business, MAPNA has created a comprehensive charter to meet its social responsibilities from various angles.
Accordingly, MAPNA Group’s agenda includes strategic investments in diverse projects, such as wind and solar energy initiatives, desalination projects, and the conversion of simple cycle gas projects into combined cycle power plants. These investments reflect our dedication to sustainable practices and our desire to make a positive impact on the environment.
Notable accomplishments in this realm include the successful execution of the desalination project and its integrated supply chain on Qeshm Island, the establishment of the Kahak wind farm, and the prestigious recognition of Genaveh’s Combined Cycle Power Plant as the first Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) project registered by the United Nations. Moreover, MAPNA Group takes great pride in having several combined cycle power plants across the country registered as the sole CDM projects by Iran’s Ministry of Power in recent years.
MAPNA Group considers paying attention to all stakeholders of the entire group, understanding and examining their needs and expectations, and responding to these needs reasonably and appropriately as one of its primary responsibilities in the realm of social responsibility.
In today’s highly competitive world, maintaining a reputable and reliable production company like MAPNA Group requires understanding and addressing the diverse needs of different audiences and stakeholders. While customer and shareholder satisfaction are crucial for business growth, our main mission at MAPNA Group is to ensure the satisfaction of all stakeholders, fulfill our social responsibilities, and contribute to the development of the community.
Like many other respected organizations, MAPNA Group is committed to fulfilling its social responsibilities in line with established rules and principles. Over the past two decades, MAPNA Group has consistently adhered to legal, ethical, cultural, political, and economic considerations, and has strived to expand the domain of its stakeholders while also managing the satisfaction of all stakeholders by fulfilling their logical demands.
