The 11th edition of the Iran International Airshow & Aerospace Exhibition was held on Kish Island as MAPNA Group introduced its newly-unveiled capabilities in the aviation industry.
For the first time, an aircraft engine that was repaired by experts of MAPNA Group was successfully tested during the event. Furthermore, the conglomerate unveiled a mobile testing system for aeroengines. The system has been designed and manufactured by MAPNA Group experts.
In an exclusive booth, experts provided visitors with details of MAPNA Group’s achievements and capabilities in repairing the engines of passenger planes.
The current activities of the conglomerate in the aviation industry include repairing aircraft engines and parts according to Part 145 approval as well as designing and manufacturing parts according to Part 21 approval.
Relying on its engineering capabilities and infrastructure as well as its experiences in the area of developing gas turbines, MAPNA Group has decided to enter the aviation industry.
Accordingly, MAPNA Air Center has been tasked with repairing and testing aircraft engines and designing and manufacturing engine parts based on international standards by using domestic experts and the latest technology. The division aims to boost Iran’s commercial air fleet. The 11th Iran Airshow kicked off on December 13, 2022, with the participation of 90 Iranian and seven foreign companies. The event wrapped up on December 16.
