Nasb Niroo Company, a subsidiary of MAPNA Group, has been honored with the award for the leading national provider of EPC services in the wind energy sector in 2022-2023.
The company received the award at the 5th National Renewable Energy Award which was held simultaneously with the 8th Iran Renewable Energy Conference and Exhibition (Iran REC 2024) in Tehran on May 26-27.
Nasb Niroo Company was founded in 1991 to help fulfill the country’s energy needs. NNC became one of the leading domestic contractors in the power sector, especially in power plant construction, after joining MAPNA Group in 1993. The company has so far been involved in the development of 8,000 megawatts of power projects in Iran.
The Iran REC 2024 recently concluded as a premier international gathering that convened experts and key players from the renewable energy sector. The event showcased a high-level conference, an exhibition featuring cutting-edge renewable energy technologies, and numerous networking opportunities.
The conference delved into several critical topics such as examining the government’s strategies and initiatives aimed at fostering renewable energy development, leveraging local resources and advancing the knowledge-based renewable energy industry, identifying and addressing the obstacles faced by renewable power plant projects within the energy sector, evaluating the renewable energy market’s challenges and exploring novel investment approaches, and introducing innovative financing techniques.
The event was organized by the Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture Energy Commission in collaboration with the Iranian Renewable Energy Association.
