MAPNA Group Showcases Energy-Services Expertise at PowerExpo 2025 in Almaty

MAPNA Group took a prominent role at the PowerExpo Almaty 2025 energy exhibition in Kazakhstan, showcasing its capabilities in power-plant construction, maintenance and engineering services.

The three-day event ran from 21 to 23 October 2025 at the Atakent International Exhibition Centre in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

Supported by the Kazakh Ministry of Energy, the exhibition is a major platform for the energy and electrical sectors in Central Asia.

More than 200 companies from over 15 countries — including China, Russia, Turkey, Iran, Austria, the UK, Belgium, Germany, Italy, Poland and Uzbekistan — participated.

The gathering provided MAPNA an opportunity to present its technical and engineering strengths in power-plant construction, equipment supply, technology transfer, operation, training and technical consulting.

At the event’s sessions, representatives from the Kazakh Ministry of Energy, the Kazenergy Association, KEGOC and Samruk‑Energy took part. They focused on themes such as investment attraction, power-plant refurbishment, tariff policy and integration of renewable energy sources.

Senior executives of KEGOC and Samruk-Energy visited the MAPNA booth.

During the show, MAPNA conducted dozens of negotiations with domestic and foreign firms in the fields of power-plant construction and maintenance.

Several repair-service requests were registered during the exhibition, and the company concluded a number of memoranda of understanding in the power-plant service sector with key operators and owners.

MAPNA’s participation served to solidify its position in the Kazakh market and the wider CIS region. The firm says the exhibition enabled it to identify new projects and strengthen ties with key energy and power-plant stakeholders in Kazakhstan.

The broader exhibition featured advanced technologies in energy-saving, smart grid, alternative energy, electrical equipment, and transmission and distribution systems.
