MAPNA Synchronizes Lour Distributed Generation Power Plant to the Grid

MAPNA Group synchronized the 25-MW Lour distributed generation power plant to the national grid on Saturday, September 12, 2020.

MAPNA Group synchronized the 25-MW Lour distributed generation power plant to the national grid on Saturday, September 12, 2020.
Located in the southwestern province of Khuzestan, Lour power plant, also known as Andimeshk I, was constructed in eight months.
The plant includes two distributed generation units in the vicinity of Andimeshk II industrial park.
MAPNA Investment Division served as the investor of the project. The electricity generated by the plant will be purchased under a power purchase agreement (PPA) between the state-owned Khuzestan Regional Electricity Company and MAPNA Genaveh Power Generation Company, a subsidiary of MAPNA Investment Division.
MAPNA is also working on construction of another distributed generation power plant, Tangevan, also near the city of Andimeshk in Khuzestan.
The power plant will be synchronized to the grid in the upcoming days.
Tangevan’s electricity will be purchased under a power purchase agreement between Khuzestan Regional Electricity Company and MAPNA Sanandaj Power Generation Company, another subsidiary of MAPNA Investment Division.
