Combined Cycle Projects Drive MAPNA Group’s First-Quarter Revenue Growth

MAPNA Group has released its Q1 performance report, providing a clearer picture of its operational performance during the first quarter of the Iranian year 1405 (March – June 2026).

Based on the official data release by MAPNA Group the cumulative first-quarter revenue of the company witnessed a 16 percent increase compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, reaching 2,814 billion tomans.

Combined cycle power plant (CCPP) projects were the largest contributor to quarterly revenues, contributing to over 2000 billion tomans in total. This reflects the steady progress of MAPNA’s ongoing EPC contracts as well as its leading role in advancing Iran’s power generation infrastructure.

The strategic importance of CCPP projects extends beyond their financial contribution. Expanding steam units and converting simple cycle power plants into combined cycle power plants is one of the most efficient and cost-effective solutions for increasing electricity generation capacity in the country to address energy imbalance and increasing demand. Because these projects significantly enhance the efficiency of power plants without additional fuel consumption. The continued advancement of these projects also reinforces MAPNA’s contribution to the sustainable development of Iran’s energy infrastructure. The upward trend in the Q1 performance indicates that a number of key projects have successfully progressed into more advanced execution stages, enabling even greater realization of contractual revenues in the coming months. The growing share of combined-cycle projects in recognized revenues reflects MAPNA’s strong project execution capabilities and its strategic focus on high-impact infrastructure projects that enhance generation capacity and improve the efficiency of the power sector.
