The “One Sunday, One Issuer” event was attended by a number of MAPNA Group board members, senior executives and employees, as well as senior officials of the Tehran Stock Exchange. Khalil Behbahani described the ceremony as another opportunity for MAPNA to renew its commitment to the Group’s shareholders and stakeholders.
“We believe that when industry and engineering innovation join forces with the financial instruments of the capital market, positive outcomes such as sustainable development, localization of technologies, and increased production capacity can be achieved for the country,” Behbahani said.
Emphasizing MAPNA’s commitment to full transparency, continuous accountability, and long-term value creation, he added: “Over the past year, through the dedication and efforts of our colleagues across MAPNA Group, we successfully completed major projects in the power plant, mobility, and oil and gas sectors. Looking ahead, we have various development plans, including completing the value chain, improving productivity, and taking steps to bring MAPNA subsidiaries to the stock market.”
He added that the opening bell rung that day would mark the beginning of a new chapter of greater effort, increased transparency, and further development of MAPNA’s national projects.



MAPNA’s Business Diversification Over Three Decades
Speaking at the press conference held during the event, MAPNA Group President said that MAPNA, through its participation in the development of the country’s industrial infrastructure, reliance on the capabilities of domestic specialists, and extensive accumulated technical knowledge and experience, plays a valuable role in the Iran’s development.
He stated that all MAPNA Group activities are pursued with a foundational and infrastructure-oriented approach to industry and serve as a driving force for other industries. “Simply put, we build the infrastructure behind infrastructure, and this creates significant added value for the country,” he said.
During the meeting, MAPNA Group President and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Khalil Behbahani presented a report on the Group’s shares and capital market performance. Introducing MAPNA and its core businesses, he provided an overview of the Power and Water Holding, MAPNA Iranian Power Plant Management Holding, Mobility Holding, Oil and Gas Holding, Energy Equipment Manufacturing, and MAPNA’s New Businesses. He also explained to members of the media how the Group’s businesses had diversified from the 1370s through the 1400s in the Iranian calendar.
Behbahani highlighted some of the Group’s capabilities in the construction and development of thermal and renewable power plants, various types of turbines, turbocompressors, petrochemical plants, power and water cogeneration, locomotive and railcar manufacturing, development of EV charging stations, medical imaging and so forth.
He also outlined several of MAPNA’s rankings among Iran’s top 100 companies. MAPNA Group ranked third in sales among diversified industrial companies, fourth in return on sales among all national companies, and fifth in terms of highest profitability.


















MAPNA’s Total Power Generation Capacity Reaches 55,000 MW
Referring to MAPNA’s Power and Water Holding, Behbahani cited 55,000 MW of total commissioned power generation capacity, 175 MW of installed wind power capacity, 171 MW of installed solar power capacity, and 145,250 cubic meters per day of water production capacity through desalination, recycling, and wastewater treatment.
He emphasized that behind the construction and development of each of these projects lies extensive technical knowledge and experience in technologies and equipment, including combined cycle and E- and F-class gas power plants.
Behbahani described MAPNA Iranian Power Plant Management Holding as a powerful and distinctive power generation entity, emphasizing that no other power generation entity listed on the stock exchange possesses such diverse and valuable assets.
An Overview of MAPNA’s Oil and Gas Holding
MAPNA’s Oil and Gas Holding was subsequently introduced across the upstream, midstream, and downstream segments. A broad range of services and projects in this field was reviewed, including the implementation and operation of underground gas storage facilities for supplying fuel to power plants and meeting domestic and industrial consumption needs, drilling services, gas pressure boosting, supply of specialized equipment, operation, maintenance, major overhauls, emergency repairs, and implementation of utility and process units for oil and gas refineries and petrochemical plants.
MAPNA in the Mobility Business
The production of rail transportation fleet equipment, including MAP24 and MAP30, the manufacture of electric bus equipment and EV charging stations, maintenance and repair of various types of locomotives, and maintenance of passenger aircraft engines were presented as examples of MAPNA’s activities in the mobility sector.
Behbahani also identified the development of the design and production of a 136-ton dump truck as one of MAPNA’s new initiatives in this field, noting that its production could enable MAPNA to play an important role in supplying one of the key pieces of equipment required by the country’s mining industry.
MAPNA Group Manufactures Advanced Industrial Equipment
Speaking about MAPNA’s manufacturing facilities, the Group President said that MAPNA factories manufacture turbines, control systems, critical power plant equipment, certain equipment used in the oil, gas and petrochemical industries, mobility equipment, and digital technologies.
In other words, a significant portion of the main equipment required for power plants and the oil and gas and mobility sectors is manufactured within these facilities. MAPNA has also recently entered new fields, including additive manufacturing.
Referring to MAPNA Group subsidiaries operating outside its holding-company structure, Behbahani named MAPNA International, MAPNA Health Development, Al-Mahdi, MAPNA Digital, MAPNA Technocenter, and MAPNA’s Corporate Venture Capital Fund (CVC).







MAPNA Group’s Sustainability and Social Responsibility Framework
During the meeting, MAPNA Group President also outlined the Group’s sustainability and social responsibility framework in areas such as engagement with government, society, and the environment.
He highlighted several MAPNA initiatives in this field, including the donation of solar energy systems, participation in school construction projects, and provision of medical imaging services in less-privileged areas.
MAPNA Group’s Shareholding Structure and Capital Increase History
MAPNA Group’s shareholder composition and history of capital increases were also discussed during the meeting.
Khalil Behbahani said: “MAPNA’s capital at the time of its listing on the Tehran Stock Exchange was 7,950 billion Iranian rials, while MAPNA’s current capital stands at 60 trillion Iranian rials. Following the upcoming capital increase, MAPNA’s capital will reach 180 trillion Iranian rials.”
Regarding trading conditions and the share price, he stated that consolidated sales this year amounted to 195 trillion Iranian tomans, while sales of the parent company stood at approximately 100 trillion Iranian tomans. Consolidated net profit amounted to 224 trillion Iranian tomans, while the parent company’s net profit was approximately 44 trillion Iranian tomans.
He added that the consolidated gross profit margin stood at 53%, compared with 48% for the parent company. The consolidated net profit margin reached approximately 115%, compared with 79% in the previous year, while the parent company’s net profit margin stood at approximately 44%, compared with 58% in the previous year. He attributed this to the country’s prevailing conditions.
MAPNA Subsidiaries in the Capital Market
Behbahani also announced MAPNA’s plans to expand the presence of its subsidiaries in the capital market. He said that companies such as MAPNA Asaluyeh Power Generation Company and MAPNA Iranian Power Plant Management had already entered the capital market, while the admission process for several other companies was underway.
These include MAPNA Parand Power Generation Company, MAPNA Renewable Energy Generation Company, and MAPNA Drilling Company, which are currently undergoing the admission process. He added that efforts are being made to accelerate the process.
Regarding MAPNA Renewable Energy Generation Company’s entry into the capital market, the MAPNA Group President said that the relevant procedures began approximately a year and a half ago. Some considerations and the need to assess the process resulted in delays; however, the matter is now being pursued seriously.
Settlement of Justice Shares-Related Debt
In response to a question regarding debt associated with Justice Shares, Ahmadreza Farasat, MAPNA Group’s Economic and Financial Deputy, said that MAPNA’s total debt related to Justice Shares amounts to approximately 1.6 trillion Iranian rials.
Of this amount, approximately 1.5 trillion Iranian rials will be settled following the General Assembly meeting on September 20, 2026, while the remaining amount is scheduled to be fully settled by the end of the current Iranian year. Under the 12 trillion Iranian rial capital increase plan, the required resources will be provided through sources including retained earnings, receivables, and shareholders’ cash contributions.






Development of EV Charging Stations
In response to a question regarding the development of EV charging stations, Behbahani said that one of the Group’s areas of activity is the design and manufacture of electric vehicle chargers and the development of related infrastructure.
MAPNA has launched an online platform through which users can view the status and availability of chargers and determine whether individual units are available for use. The platform also provides users with support services and assistance in resolving potential issues.
Referring to the expansion of the EV charging network in Tehran, MAPNA’s President said that the Group has so far installed 230 EV chargers, while its annual production capacity for such equipment stands at approximately 200 to 300 units.
MAPNA’s Receivables
At the conclusion of the meeting, in response to a question concerning MAPNA’s receivables, Khalil Behbahani said that MAPNA Group’s total receivables amount to EUR 4.1 billion, of which approximately EUR 2.6 billion is due from the government, with the remainder due from other domestic and international companies and institutions.
