General Meeting: MAPNA Group Approves ۱,۰۰۰ Rial Dividend per Share and Capital Increase to ۱۸۰ Trillion Rials

In a General Meeting (GM), MAPNA Group approved the distribution of dividends to shareholders for the fiscal year ended on March 20, 2026.

The General Meeting was held on September 20, 2026, in Tehran with the participation of over 82 percent of MAPNA Group shareholders. MAPNA Group’s President Khalil Behbahani attended the meeting as the Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors alongside other board members and representatives of the company’s independent auditor and inspector. The event was chaired by Mohammadreza Oula, Chairman of MAPNA Group’s Board of Directors.

At the outset of the meeting the financial performance of MAPNA Group in the related fiscal year was presented to shareholders. Based on the conglomerate’s report, its net profit amounted to 225 trillion Iranian tomans, while the parent company’s net profit was approximately 44 trillion Iranian tomans. MAPNA’s positive foreign exchange balance was also reported at approximately EUR 3.7 billion.

MAPNA Group’s President Khalil Behbahani presented a performance report, saying that over the past year, major projects had been successfully completed across the power plant, mobility, and oil and gas sectors. Expressing hope for the collection of MAPNA Group’s receivables, he said this would facilitate the implementation of even larger projects by the Group.

Behbahani also outlined some of the Group’s capabilities in the construction and development of thermal and renewable power plants, cogeneration of power and water, various types of turbines, turbocompressors, oil, gas and petrochemical plants, locomotive and railcar manufacturing, development of EV charging stations, and medical imaging.

Referring to MAPNA’s new approaches across its industries and businesses, Behbahani said that innovative solutions for regional sustainable power generation based on renewable energy and storage, online metering of energy carriers and water, control, optimization and smart management of energy generation and consumption networks, development of EV charging infrastructure, and the use of vehicle batteries to supply electricity to homes are among the innovative and forward-looking areas in which MAPNA has become increasingly active.

At the meeting, shareholders approved a cash dividend of 1,000 rials per share. Shareholders also approved, by majority vote, an increase in capital from 6 trillion tomans to 18 trillion tomans. Other resolutions included increasing the percentage allocated to MAPNA Group Company’s social responsibility activities.
