The new wells became operational on March 4 in line with the plans to maintain and increase the production of oil fields in Ilam province.
The EPD-EPC project is aimed to increase the field’s production capacity from 8,000 barrels per day to 19,000 bpd.
MAPNA Group and Iranian Central Oil Fields Company signed a contract for improved oil recovery (IOR) in Danan Oil Field back in January 2019.
MAPNA Drilling Company is responsible for all the engineering, procurement and drilling (EPD) operations of the project.
MAPNA Group’s assignments also include the design and execution of acid fracturing operation, and geophysical services (3D seismic survey, data processing, and interpretation) in an area of 230 square kilometers, as well as skid mounted desalination with a capacity of 10,000 bpd, and construction of a 55-km pipeline.
