The first phase of Semnan Power Plant comprised two gas units with a capacity of 162 MW each (324 MW in total) at ISO conditions.

The plant is located 10 km from Semnan on the road to Damghan. All the units of the power plant have been delivered to the client on provisional (PAC) basis.

The capacity of the substation of Semnan Power Plant is 400 kV and engineering, procurement and construction of the project have been defined within the scope of the activities of the project client.

MANPA MD-1 Company started construction operations of the power plant’s first phase on January 15, 2009 and the first unit of the power plant was synchronized to the grid on December 25, 2010, about two years after the launch of the project. The project has been accomplished on the basis of the approved strategy within the framework of a contract for 22 units in engineering, procurement and implementation sectors.
