The 21st edition of Iran International Electricity Exhibition (IEE-2021) wrapped up on Monday, November 01, 2021.
MAPNA Group, as a key player in the Iranian electricity sector, attended the event, showcasing its latest products and services.
The MAPNA subsidiaries presented their cutting-edge achievements to the visitors, including electric vehicles, renewables, wind and gas turbines, and distributed water and power generation.
MAPNA Electric & Control Engineering & Manufacturing Company (MECO) and Parsan Electric Bus Production Company – commercially known as ‘Shetab’ – also put on display their all-electric pickup and bus models.
Experts in the energy and water industries attended the MAPNA pavilion and sat down for talks with the conglomerate’s representatives over prospective collaborations in the two key industries.
During his visit to MAPNA pavilion, Iran’s Energy Minister Ali Akbar Mehrabian highlighted the private sector’s vital role in the country’s industrial development and hailed MAPNA’s innovative ways to realize such plans.
According to Mehrabian, Iran has access to huge hydrocarbon resources and the best strategy to take advantage of them is to convert fossil fuel energy to electricity to not only meet domestic needs but also to generate revenue via export.
MAPNA Group has been working hard to up its game in the electricity sector through a multitude of strategies via superior products and services.
In recent years, MAPNA has cast a special focus on the electrification of the transportation fleet, and development of green energies.
This year’s IEE featured over 245 domestic companies as well as 11 foreign exhibitors from China, Italy, Turkey, Canada, Germany, France, and Japan.
The exhibition covered a variety of areas including lighting, wire and cable, electrical panels, electrical equipment, automation and instrumentation systems, and transmission lines.
