Minister of Energy and Water Resources of the Republic of Tajikistan visited MAPNA Group on Wednesday, December 4, 2019.
Usmonali Usmonzoda, who had traveled to Iran to attend the 13th meeting of Iran-Tajikistan Joint Economic Committee, toured MAPNA Group’s factories and discussed opportunities for collaboration in his meeting with MAPNA President Abbas Aliabadi.
MAPNA Group’s activities in power, railway, and oil & gas sectors were introduced, as well as the company’s latest projects, products, and achievements during the visit.
MAPNA Group’s homegrown MGT-70 turbine, renewable plants, water and power cogeneration utilities, mobile power plants, automobiles and railway electrification plans, and combined cycle conversion operations were some of the projects presented to Mr. Usmonzoda.
Tajikistan’s Minister of Energy also visited MAPNA Group’s factories of MAPNA Turbine Engineering and Manufacturing Company (TUGA), MAPNA Turbine Blade Engineering and Manufacturing Company (PARTO) and MAPNA Generator Engineering and Manufacturing Company (PARS) during his half-day tour.
Mr. Usmonzoda set out the status of Tajikistan’s energy sector during the visit, and welcomed MAPNA Group’s participation in the Central Asian country’s energy projects.
