During this event, the Chairman of the Board, Mohammadreza Oula, expressed his gratitude for the valuable efforts and services of Mohammad Owliya. He also praised Owliya’s professional and personal qualities, such as honesty, integrity, responsibility and perseverance. In addition, he described Khalil Behbahani as one of MAPNA’s experienced, capable and well-kown managers, with an impressive track record, particularly in the power and water sectors.
Former CEO Mohammad Owliya expressed his gratitude to the executives and employees of MAPNA Group for their support and collaboration during his term of office. He described the new CEO as an experienced leader from within the organization and that the appointment was a wise and well-considered decision.
Referring to his 27 years of service in various divisions of MAPNA Group, Owliya added: “One of MAPNA’s outstanding strengths is its ability to foster growth, learning, and the development of human capital at all organizational levels.”
In his speech, the new CEO, Khalil Behbahani, paid tribute to the efforts and dedication of Mohammad Owliya, describing him as one of MAPNA’s valuable assets and a product of the company’s managerial school. He added that Owliya’s integrity, professionalism, and tireless efforts throughout his tenure were both evident and inspiring.
Additionally, Mohsen Amiri, CEO of MAPNA Iranian Power Generation Holding, was introduced as the newest member of MAPNA Group’s Board of Directors. Several senior managers also expressed their appreciation for the former CEO’s contributions and praised the appointment of Behbahani as a well‑deserved choice based on experience and a deep understanding of MAPNA’s capabilities.
The ceremony concluded with the presentation of a plaque of appreciation to former CEO Mohammad Owliya in recognition of his valuable services and efforts.
