Georgia’s Minister of Energy Kakha Kaladze visited MAPNA on Tuesday February 16, 2016.
On Tuesday morning, Kaladze who had a delegation of energy, rail transportation and investment officials by his side took a tour of TUGA Company where MAPNA Group manufactures its gas and steam turbines.
TUGA Deputy Managing Director Mohammad Owliya gave a brief introduction of MAPNA activities and achievements to the Georgian delegation, before they took a tour of TUGA factory’s various sections. MAPNA Manufacturing Division CEO Mohammad-Reza Roshani Moghaddam briefed them on the procedure of gas and steam turbines’ manufacturing during the tour. The Georgian delegation were also informed about MAPNA’s activities oil and gas and rail transportation.
MAPNA CEO Abbas Aliabadi also welcomed collaboration with Georgia’s power sector, expressing readiness to carry out projects in potential fields in this Caucasian republic. Addressing the historical ties between Iran and the Republic of Georgia, Aliabadi called for expansion of ties.
Georgian Energy Minister Kakha Kaladze also praised the volume of industrial activities carried out in MAPNA. He outlined the state of power industry in his country, and welcomed collaboration with MAPNA Group under different contract schemes.
CEO of Georgian Railway Mamuka Bakhtadze, head of the National Investment Agency Georgy Pertaya, and Georgian Ambassador to Iran Ioseb Chakhvashvili were part of the delegation that visited MAPNA on Tuesday.
