MAPNA GROUP IN THE SHORT-LIST OF E&P COMPANIES

Pursuant to the assessment of some 40 Iranian firms applying for involvement in Iranian upstream oil and gas projects as Exploration & Production (E&P) companies, the Ministry of Petroleum of Iran ultimately announced the list of 8 Iranian firms, as qualified Iranian E&P companies, having achieved the required ranking for the same purpose.
Petropars Co., Dana Energy Co., Petroiran Development Co. (PEDCO), MAPNA Group, Oil Industries’ Engineering and Construction (OIEC), Khatam-Ol-Anbia HQ, Industrial Projects Management of Iran (IPMI) affiliated to Industrial Development and Renovation Organization of Iran (IDRO) and Persia Oil & Gas Development Co., are being among the 8 qualified E&P companies, finally selected and nominated by the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum.
In line with Iranian government’s policy, the evaluation procedure was carried out with the aim of emergence of Iranian E&P companies. In compliance with the new IPC contract, the qualified Iranian E&P are identified as partners for international major energy key players (IOCs and renowned International E&P Companies) seeking to invest in Iranian Oil and gas Fields, while the idea of technology transfer as well as local content policy are to be maintained.
The list announced by Iranian Ministry of Petroleum, has been widely broadcasted in many local and international media, contributing to a creditable reputation for the 8 nominated qualified E&P companies including MAPNA Group.
