In a move towards sustainable transportation, the Isfahan Municipality has partnered with MAPNA Electric & Control Engineering & Manufacturing Company (MECO) to establish two electric vehicle charging stations.
The agreement was signed on the sidelines of the 2nd Knowledge-Based Transportation Exhibition in Isfahan.
Under the contract, the municipality will allocate two locations for the construction of the stations, while MAPNA Group will oversee the installation and provision of the necessary equipment.
Each station will feature a 60kW fast charger for cars and two AC chargers for motorcycles, reflecting MAPNA Group’s commitment to environmental stewardship and the promotion of electric vehicles.
During the exhibition, MECO Company, representing MAPNA Group, showcased their expertise in developing electric vehicle charging solutions.
Mohammad Hossein Rafan, CEO of MECO, highlighted MAPNA’s comprehensive range of charging products, from 2.2 kW chargers to a 600 kW super-fast bus charger.
The company showcased a portable charger, an 8 kW AC station wall box, a 60 kW DC charger, and a newly designed 240 kW bus charger that has entered mass production and is being adopted by various municipalities, Refan added.
The exhibition, held at Isfahan University of Technology from April 30 to May 3, brought together organizations and companies active in transportation.
