Iranian Health Minister Bahram Eynollahi visited MAPNA Group for a half-day tour on Thursday, April 7, 2022.

Eynollahi, accompanied by his ministry’s senior officials, took a tour of MAPNA’s Turbine Blade Engineering and Manufacturing Company, and was briefed about the conglomerate’s latest achievements in the healthcare sector.

Plans to produce medical implants in MAPNA factories in compliance with international standards were explained to the health minister during the visit.

High-tech products, medical implants are designed and manufactured in around ten countries throughout the world.

Eynollahi praised MAPNA’s efforts to further the country’s long-term development in a variety of areas, including the critical healthcare sector.

The healthcare industry has gained significant traction in the recent years and international companies might be hard-pressed to build a diversified portfolio of any kind that includes at least some healthcare stocks.

MAPNA Group founded the MAPNA Healthcare Company (MHC) in 2016 in partnership with the Iranian Ministry of Health, not only as a business strategy, but also as critical step for social well-being, as well as part of its corporate social responsibility.

MAPNA initially prioritized procurement, supply and operation of imaging equipment (CT scan, MRI, angiography, and radiology devices). Later, it expanded its horizons to meet the urgent needs of the Health Ministry by technology transfer and obtaining the know-how to manufacture the much-needed medical equipment in the domestic market.

MAPNA subsidiaries provide full support to the healthcare system within their respective fields, including provision of oxygen generators, and services such as the electronics and telecommunications of medical devices.

The ultimate goal of MAPNA Group’s healthcare division is to localize advanced medical technologies and supply medical equipment under the MAPNA brand.
