MAPNA Group received final acceptance certificate (FAC) following successful development of Damavand Steam and Power Plant on February 2, 2020.
Damavand Steam and Power Cogeneration Utility
Damavand steam and power generation utility is located at Pars Special Economic Energy Zone in Asaluyeh, southern Iran, in vicinity of South Pars giant gas field.
The scope of the project included design, construction, procurement, transportation, civil operation, installation, test and commissioning of the equipment, among them two 162-MW turbo generators, two 200-MVA transformers, two HRSG boilers each with a capacity of 330 tons per hour, one auxiliary boiler with a capacity of 120 tons per hour, and one 230-kV GIS substation.
The utility’s construction project was commissioned to MAPNA Special Projects Construction & Development Company (MD-3) in two phases.
The first phase of the project included design, construction, procurement, transportation, civil operation, installation, test and commissioning of the equipment, among them two 162-MW turbo generators, two 200-MVA transformers, two HRSG boilers each with a capacity of 330 tons per hour, one auxiliary boiler with a capacity of 120 tons per hour, and one 230-kV GIS substation.
The second phase of the project, assigned by Damavand Petrochemical Company, included design, construction, procurement, transportation, civil operation, installation, test and commissioning of two 162-MW turbo generators with auxiliary equipment.
