Unit II of Mahshahr Thermal Power Plant Receives FAC

The second unit of Mahshahr thermal power plant received final acceptance certificate (FAC) on Saturday, December 28, 2019. With provisional delivery of this unit, MD-2 has now received PAC for 82 units with an aggregate capacity of 12,369 MWs.

Located 9 kilometers north of Mahshahr on Jarrahi (Chamran) road, Mahshahr power plant includes four gas-fired units each with a capacity of 162 MWs.

Thermal Power Plants Holding Company is the client of the project and Ghods Niroo Engineering Company serves as the consultant.
