MAPNA Group oil and gas subsidiary, Neyr Perse, has signed a three-year contract to maintain and repair turbocompressors at South Pars Phase 19, a deal that will cover nearly 22 percent of Iran’s gas injection capacity.

A contract was formalized today with Neyr Perse to provide parts supply, major and emergency overhauls of MGT30 and DUT80 turbocompressors, and ongoing maintenance for Unit 106 at the Phase 19 processing plant in the South Pars Gas Field.

The agreement follows high satisfaction from the client—Pars Oil & Gas Company—with the performance of Neyr Perse in executing three-year maintenance and operations agreements for Units 106 of Phases 11 and 12. Based on that success, the new three-year arrangement for Unit 106 of Phase 19 was awarded to the company.

Experts from Neyr Perse will now oversee maintenance responsibilities that ensure approximately 22 percent of the nation’s total gas production is injected into the national pipeline system.

In addition to bolstering equipment reliability and reducing operational risks, the new contract is expected to strengthen production stability and support ongoing development at the South Pars gas complex.

Neyr Perse specializes as an EPC contractor for midstream and downstream projects. Established in 1958 and acquired by MAPNA in 2008, it has delivered engineering, procurement, and construction services across multiple South Pars phases—13, 14, 19, 22–24—and other initiatives such as Iran LNG and Isfahan Oil Refinery developments.

The South Pars Gas Field, located in the Persian Gulf, is the world’s largest offshore gas reserve. Shared between Iran and Qatar, it plays a critical role in Iran’s hydrocarbon output. Development is organized in phased expansions, each contributing to the nation’s energy supply. Phase 19 is one of these projects, with Unit 106 playing a major role in gas processing and compression.
