On Saturday September 17, 2016, MAPNA Group was host to a number of Power Ministry officials in Parand Combined Cycle Power Plant.
Mohsen Tarztalab, CEO of Thermal Power Plant Holding, a subsidiary of the Ministry of Power, led a delegation of the holding’s senior officials to the power plant, thirty kilometers south of Tehran, where they visited steam sector of the facility and observed the processes of design, manufacturing and production of mobile power plants.
This was part of a visit aimed to discuss the contract between MAPNA and Thermal Power Plant Holding for construction and delivery of 10 mobile power plants by MAPNA, each with a capacity of 25 MWs.
Praising MAPNA’s technological achievements, Tarztalab hoped for expansion of ties between the holding and MAPNA and conclusion of a bilateral contract in near future.
Officials from MAPNA’s Power Division briefed the visiting team about the company’s plans. “MAPNA is able to deliver the main bulk of mobile power plant equipment by the end of the [Persian] year” said Power Division Vice President for Sales & Marketing Vandad Rastegar to the holding managers. Rastegar added that commission of the mobile power plants will help responding to the peak demand of the next Persian year which starts from March 21.
MAPNA’s 25-MW mobile power plants are capable of being installed and synchronized to the national grid in less than 30 days. MAPNA is among a handful of companies around the world able to produce these increasingly popular types of power plant.
