MAPNA Group experts synchronized the first gas unit of Sabzevar Combined Cycle Power Plant to the grid on on Tuesday, February 27, 2024.
The power plant is located near Sabzevar city on the Sabzevar-Shahroud road, northeast Iran.
The plant can produce 546 MW of electricity using two MAP2B gas turbines (each with a capacity of 183 MW) and one steam turbine (with a capacity of 180 MW).
The project’s client is Ofogh Tosé Energy Khalij Fars Company and Moshanir serves as the consultant.
The addition of this unit increased the number of synchronized units of MAPNA Power Plants Construction & Development Company (MD-1) to 159, with a total capacity of 21,729 megawatts.
