MAPNA Group Secures Contract for Dehdasht Petrochemical Power Plant Project

MAPNA Group has been awarded the contract for the Dehdasht Petrochemical Power Plant project following a highly competitive tender process.

The scope of work under this contract includes the engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) of two MGT-40 gas turbines, each with a capacity of 42 megawatts, along with a heat recovery boiler, auxiliary equipment, and associated facilities.

The agreement was finalized between Dehdasht Petrochemical Company, as the client, and MAPNA Group, as the contractor.

The project site is located at the premises of Dehdasht Petrochemical Industries Company in Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province, southwest Iran.

The provisional delivery of the gas turbine units is scheduled within 18 months, while the entire project is expected to be handed over within 24 months from the contract’s commencement.

The project will be executed by MAPNA Combined Cycle Power Plants Construction & Development (MD-2), a subsidiary of MAPNA Group.

Dehdasht Petrochemical Plant is a key facility along the West Ethylene Pipeline, known as the Dena Line. Spanning 102 hectares near Kalachoo Desert, 80 km from Gachsaran, it is designed to produce 300,000 tons of high-density polyethylene (HDPE) annually across nine product grades.

The plant will cater to local market demands, support downstream industries, and export globally.
