The product is designed to meet urgent and off-grid energy demands through advanced, mobile solar technology.
The unveiling took place on Tuesday, May 20, at MAPNA Sepahan Equipment Engineering and Manufacturing Company, as part of a two-day site tour by MAPNA President Mohammad Owliya, Vice Chairman of the Board Khalil Behbahani, and other senior executives.
The event featured a comprehensive presentation by Mohammadreza Ghasemi, Managing Director of the Sepahan unit, who detailed the product’s development progress, design challenges, and engineering features.
MAPsolar reflects MAPNA’s broader strategy to support clean energy access, particularly for industries, emergency services, and remote areas lacking stable electricity infrastructure. The product addresses the rising demand for renewable and mobile power generation through locally developed technology.
Features of MAPsolar
The MAPsolar unit is designed on a standard 40-foot container frame, allowing for easy transport and mobility. It features a rail-based mechanism that enables quick deployment of its solar panels on-site. The system is equipped with monocrystalline panels capable of generating up to 16.5 kilowatts of solar power.
To ensure reliable energy storage, the unit includes lithium-ion battery systems with capacities ranging from 100 to 215 kilowatt-hours. It also comes with three-phase inverters that support both on-grid and off-grid operations, offering flexibility across various energy environments.
The entire system can be fully installed within three to four days, thanks to its adjustable-angle steel structures, which also allow for fast disassembly and redeployment as needed in different locations.
MAPsolar is designed for use in rural and off-grid regions, temporary camps, disaster relief operations, mining and industrial projects, agricultural infrastructure, remote border posts, and charging stations for electric vehicles.
MAPNA’s Cooperation with Isfahan Municipality
MAPNA executives held a joint meeting with Mayor of Isfahan Ali Ghasemzadeh and city officials on Tuesday.
The two sides reviewed past agreements and discussed accelerating collaboration in rail transit, urban electrification, and public transport modernization.
Owliya emphasized MAPNA’s readiness to deepen its industrial role in the city, stating, “MAPNA Group is fully prepared to support Isfahan’s development in electric and rail transportation.”
Municipal representatives stressed the need to remove operational barriers and expedite the implementation of existing contracts, particularly in the areas of metro equipment supply and rail infrastructure.
