We are proud to be the first Iranian company to acquire the technology for manufacturing diesel-electric passenger locomotives and related spare parts in Iran. We have supplied and manufactured 150 Iran Safir locomotives (under license of Siemens) for Iranian Railway since establishing a modern factory in Karaj, outskirts of Tehran, over a decade ago. Iran Safir locomotives have been designed for maximum operating speed of 160 km/h. All the welding, machining, painting, accurate measurement and load testing of Iran Safir locomotives have been performed inside MAPNA factories. The Group has successfully completed the mass production of this model using the domestic and international supply chain.
