The scope of the contract includes design, supply, manufacture, handover and supervision over installation and commissioning of 100 turbocompressors to be employed in IGAT, Iran’s nationwide gas trunk line network. The project has been carried out in three phases, with the share of localization of the process increasing at each phase. The turbocompressors are installed in various locations across the IGAT 4 & 8 lines trajectory and their installation is carried out by the client, Iranian Gas Engineering and Development Company. Energy Industries Engineering & Design (EIED) has served as the consultant of the project. Neyr Perse, an oil & gas subsidiary of MAPNA Group executes the project on behalf of the parent company. The contract between MAPNA Group and the Ministry of Petroleum for this project was signed in 2007.
