Two gas units in Pareh Sar Combined Cycle Power Plant were completely commissioned by MAPNA.

With complete commissioning of these units, the total number of power plant units commissioned by MAPNA Construction and Development of Combined Cycle Power Plants Company (MD2) reached the number of 43, with an overall capacity of 6089 MWs.

The gas sector of Pareh Sar Combined Cycle Power Plant entail four gas turbines each with a generation capacity of 162 MWs, while the steam sector includes two steam turbines each with a capacity of 160 MWs.

MD2’s EPC contract included design, engineering, procurement, civil operation, installation and commissioning of four gas units and two steam units.

Located thirty-six kilometers of Bandar Anzali port in Gilan Province, Pareh Sar Combined Cycle Power Plant contains two combined cycle blocks equipped with V94.2 gas turbines, E-Type steam turbines, heat recovery steam generators (HRSG), and seawater cooling system. The power plant is connected to the national grid through a 230 KW substation and holds an efficiency rate of 48 percent.
