The MAPNA Turbine Engineering and Manufacturing Company (TUGA) has been awarded the prestigious five-star knowledge-based export status by Iran’s Vice Presidency of Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy.
The award ceremony took place on Sunday, February 18, 2024, graced by the presence of Rouhollah Dehqani Firouzabadi, the Iranian Vice-President for Science, Technology, and Knowledge-Based Economy.
During the event, which spotlighted the nation’s leading knowledge-based exporters, TUGA secured the five-star knowledge-based export ranking for the consecutive second year.
In the realm of knowledge-based exports, particularly in the advanced machinery and equipment sector, TUGA emerged as the foremost exporting entity.
Among the 9,600 knowledge-based firms in Iran, 2,142 were evaluated, with 950 achieving a ranking between three to five stars. Notably, only 11 enterprises attained the five-star distinction, underscoring TUGA’s significant achievement.
