The line opened during a visit by Mohammad Jafar Ghaempanah, Iran’s Vice President for Executive Affairs, to Alborz Province on Thursday.
At the inauguration ceremony, the testing line was introduced as a key project in the development of the country’s EV infrastructure. Equipped with advanced technologies, the facility enables performance testing, quality control, safety inspections, and energy efficiency evaluations for fast and ultra-fast EV chargers.
The establishment of this testing center will enhance national standards for EV charging equipment, support domestic technological advancements, boost confidence in locally manufactured products, and strengthen Iran’s EV charging network.
Additionally, it is seen as a step toward reducing environmental pollution, improving energy efficiency, and promoting the country’s electric vehicle industry.
