MAPNA Group Signs MoUs at 10th Iraq Energy Exhibition

MAPNA Group signed several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for power plant services and construction during the 10th Iraq Energy Exhibition & Conference (IEE).

The 10th IEE took place from February 24 to 26, 2025, at the Baghdad International Fair in the Iraqi capital. 

The event brought together representatives from over 250 companies across 22 countries, including Iran, Turkey, China, Saudi Arabia, Germany, the United States, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and Gulf nations.

Leading international firms from the oil, gas, and renewable energy sectors participated in the exhibition. 

MAPNA Group, as Iran’s prominent conglomerate specializing in the construction and maintenance of thermal and renewable power plants as well as oil and gas projects, played an active role in the event.

The company received significant interest, providing another opportunity to showcase its industrial capabilities in power plant construction and services. 

During the exhibition, executives from more than 40 major Iraqi power plants visited MAPNA’s booth and extended invitations for collaboration on various projects, including maintenance and the supply of power plant components.

Several MoUs related to power plant services were signed during the event. Furthermore, MAPNA Group inked an MoU for the construction of a 700-megawatt thermal power plant at the Al-Musayyib Power Plant, located in Babil, Iraq.
