MAPNA Receives Two Certificates for Shirvan Power Plant

MAPNA Combined Cycle Power Plants Construction & Development Company (MD-2) received final acceptance certificate (FAC) for Unit I and provisional acceptance certificate (PAC) for Unit II of Shirvan Combined Cycle Power Plant on December 23, 2019.

MAPNA Combined Cycle Power Plants Construction & Development Company (MD-2) received final acceptance certificate (FAC) for Unit I and provisional acceptance certificate (PAC) for Unit II of Shirvan Combined Cycle Power Plant on December 23, 2019.
With delivery of the two units, MAPNA Combined Cycle Power Plants Construction & Development Company (MD-2) has now received FAC for 79 units with an aggregate capacity of 11,883 MWs, and PAC for 93 units with a total capacity of 14,251 MWs.
Shirvan Combined Cycle Power Plant Project
The plant is located 15 kilometers southeast of the city of Shirvan, Khorasan Razavi Province. The project includes construction of 3 steam cycles each with a capacity of 160 MWs. The E-type steam turbines are manufactured by MAPNA Turbine Engineering and Manufacturing Company (TUGA). HRSG and supplementary firing are manufactured by MAPNA Boiler and Equipment Engineering and Manufacturing Company, and MAPNA Electric & Control Engineering & Manufacturing Company (MECO) developed the power and control system. The steam unit of the power plant uses a Heller cooling tower.
 Thermal Power Plants Holding Company is the client of the project and Moshanir serves as consultant.
